Tour Weekend - July 9, 2007
Every year it seems we have a couple weekends where we're racing from place to place. When it rains, it pours. We had one of those a couple weeks ago. It started Friday night (7/6) at the 400 Bar - a somewhat small audience, but we gave them all we had.
The next night we played at the Suburban World Theater in Uptown, for our dear friend Michelle Miles' wedding reception. What a crazy place to play! It was about 150 degrees in there, but the wedding-goers were all on the floor all night!
Sunday afternoon we played a high school grad party in Orono. Thanks to some monster storms rolling through, we ended up playing in the basement with the honored grad and about 50 friends.
We needed a weekend to recover from our weekend by the end of it. But that's what we're about. All we need is a room big enough to fit, and maybe a 110-volt outlet or two, and we'll give you a show to remember!
